What are the steps in Stadia's Planter Discovery process?

The discovery process is a series of questionnaires and conversations to help you discern your next steps in church planting and how Stadia can help. There are three questionnaires with a conversation with a Stadia team member after each:

1. Planter Readiness Survey followed by a phone call
2. Professional Discovery Survey followed by a video interview
3. Personal Discovery Survey followed by another video interview

At the end of each conversation, we will discuss next steps and recommendations with you. If we agree to work together in starting a church, you will be invited to Stadia’s Church Planting Assessment Center.

Do you require a residency before planting?

A Stadia residency is not required before planting. We do, however, recommend residency if we believe you will benefit from this season of preparation before planting.

Is Stadia part of a denomination?

Stadia is a non-denominational organization, but has many partnerships with a variety of organizations who are affiliated with various denominations.

Do you only plant in certain locations or tell planters where to plant?

We have networks and residences in cities across the country looking for church planters (areas of high need listed below). If you are open to planting in these locations, we can introduce you. But we won’t tell you to plant in location we determine.

  • Birmingham, AL
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Central Illinois
  • Milwaukee, WI
  • Minneapolis, MN
