church planting leader randall tonini

I remember the first time I went to an Exponential event in 2013. Being in a room with thousands of other church planters and people passionate about church planting practically had me vibrating with excitement. I remember sitting in the back of the balcony at First Baptist Orlando listening to amazing speakers and singing along with a fantastic worship band. But you know what I remember the most? I remember the times after and between main sessions where I met other church planters, connected with friends passionate about church planting, and downloaded all the information I had just learned.

Those informal hang-out sessions helped me put legs on what I had learned in the main sessions. That way, when I got home to my church, Revolution Annapolis, I could immediately implement some of the things I learned. Additionally, the friendships and connections I made during the hang time have been vital in my ministry (and frankly all aspects of my life) ever since.

Because of experiences like these, Stadia is going to host “Quality Hangs” one night of each Exponential event this Fall.

These will be times to gather together, meet other church planters, share stories, get ideas, discuss main sessions, and probably have some excellent laughs. There won’t be an agenda or a speaker. You’ll have already seen many excellent speakers during Exponential. We’ll provide some light fare and some soft drinks, but if you want to buy more food or some other beverage, you’re welcome to do so.

Our first Quality Hang will be during next week’s Exponential DC event. Right after the last main session on Monday September 10, meet us at Dogfish Head Alehouse. It’s 10 minutes East on Route 50. The entire menu is delicious, and the hang will be quality. See you there!

If you have any questions, stop by our booth on Monday or e-mail Bob Carlton (bob.carlton@stadiachurchplanting.org).
