Now That’s a Movement

May 30, 2019

In 2004, the vision of Lifepointe Church went from a dream to a reality!

My name is Nate Siemon and I have the honor to pastor at Lifepointe Church. I started with Lifepointe when the church was eight months old doing student ministry. In 2013, I stepped into the lead pastor role as my mentor and founding pastor, Matt McGue, handed the baton of leadership to me. As I approach my 14th year of being on staff and 6th as lead pastor, I can’t help be look back and reflect on all that God has done.

I believe that God works best through his people when they’re willing to collaborate and work together. I say that because Lifepointe’s success and impact has greatly been influenced by the partnership, support, and care of Stadia. Stadia, over the last 15 years, has been more than a church planting organization, has provided more than just project management services, and has helped us receive more than just funding. Stadia has been our partner in the Gospel, a constant voice of encouragement, and an “open handed” friend, willing to give us whatever they have.

When I think about Lifepointe’s partnership with Stadia, I can’t help but think of Paul’s words in Philippians 1:3-5: “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now”

As Lifepointe turns 15 this September, we have never been more excited for the future. In January 2018, we moved into our first ever permanent location and in 18 months we have grown by 60%. We currently experience 1,300 folks on the weekend, have baptized 145 people, and we are mentoring 85 elementary kids in two local public schools. Lifepointe is in process of planting our first international church through Stadia and the Compassion International partnership in Ecuador.

God has given our church a clear vision to reach people with the Full Life message of Jesus. We say all the time that our “Win” and our “End Zone” is seeing lost people saved, and saved people set free. This is the full message of the cross, or as we like to say it, “the front side and the back side.” We are seeing the message of grace free people from the bondage of sin and the religious weight that so many believers have been carrying for years. For 15 years, it’s been the goal of Lifepointe to keep it simple and make the name of Jesus famous! I can honestly say that I have never been more excited for the local church. The local church is still the God’s plan A, still the greatest organism, still the hope of the world.

I am proud to say that Lifepointe is a part of the Stadia family. Stadia, year in and year out has been helping pastors and leaders like myself fulfill the vision that God has placed in their hearts. No other church planting organization is reproducing so many effective, kingdom minded churches as Stadia. As much as I love pastoring a local church, I love even more being connected to a MOVEMENT of God. What God has done and is doing at Lifepointe is great, but what God is doing collectively through all of the Stadia churches…Now that’s a movement!
