Jeff Reed Joins Stadia Church Planting as Director of Digital Church Planting

Feb 26, 2020

Jeff Reed, founder of THECHURCH.DIGITAL, joined the Stadia Church Planting team as Director of Digital Church Planting on January 27, 2020. As Director of Digital Church Planting, Jeff will build on his 20 years of experience serving the church in the digital/technological realm to help churches navigate the growth process that comes with adopting new technologies. He writes, “One of the greatest misconceptions in church today is that a 40 minute sermon is the best way to reach people online. By helping to plant digital churches, Stadia Church Planting and THECHURCH.DIGITAL will be creating a new model of church, held to the biblical ecclesiology/standard of Church, but envisioned from the ground up to function in communities online. This is not a repackaging of a physical church ministry in virtual spaces. This is the building of a biblically-grounded church that operates first and foremost in digital space.”

Greg Nettle, President of Stadia Church Planting, says, “Jeff Reed is a leader in digital church expression. As part of Stadia we believe Jeff will open the way to digital church planting that will impact both the U.S. and around the world. We couldn’t be more excited about the Kingdom doors that will open with Jeff as part of the Stadia Team.”

Jeff’s website, THECHURCH.DIGITAL, will continue to pursue its mission with the support of Stadia Church Planting. THECHURCH.DIGITAL helps churches do ministry online by teaching them how to expand their online ministry in order to help churches disciple and grow followers of Jesus in the digital space.

Stadia Church Planting, a church planting organization whose vision is to see a world where every child has a church, is excited to pursue digital churches as a new avenue for introducing the hope of Jesus to digital natives all around the world.
