July 2022 Update
Hello brothers and sisters of Monat and Connect Church! We are excited to share with you an update on the ministries and construction of La Atravesada.
The Pre-Inauguration of the temple could not be carried out due to the national strike. The roads were closed, and nobody could leave. The new inauguration date will be on July 17. We continue to have a challenge of installing water and electricity because those companies tell us that they do not have materials, so we are searching by our own means. We must make a water channel in the land so they can install the water the facilities. They told us that they are going to measure it all on Tuesday, July 5.
We continue to work with children, we’ve organized talks about child protection for children and parents. We are giving each child a health exam to know where they’re at with their health and if they need medications. Sometimes we feel up and sometimes down because there are times when parents do not help. We hope that we can have 100% face-to-face attendance so we can be more consolidated. We are going to buy chairs, tables to be used by children, a screen for classes and a speaker.
In the next couple of months, we are hoping to dig the water channel so that we can have running water in our church. We are also hoping to buy all the remaining materials we need.
We are very grateful to this beautiful group of leaders and sponsors of this program, thank you for being aware of my son. They teach him the Word of God, praises, and carry out dominical schools. My son feels very happy and grateful. He is a child full of faith. We are very happy that my son learns from the team of leaders. Dylan teaches, analyzes, and repeats at home everything they teach him. It makes us very happy to see him being so interactive, it motivates us to continue with life and to achieve our dream of having our own home, even when times are very difficult.

- Pray that God would touch each parent’s heart to attend services and draw closer to him.
- Pray for the spiritual life so that it continues to strengthen us and for us to remain firm in everything that we are working for.
