Greetings brothers and sisters of MONAT! We are excited to share with you an update on the ministries and construction of Iglesia Christiana Cuadragular Cristo Rey. We currently have 90 adults and about 40 children attending our church. In the last couple of months, 3 more people have come to faith and been baptized for the glory of God!

So far in this process, we have finished the bathrooms walls, bathroom appliances, classrooms, and dining area. Regarding the multifunctional room, the 4 walls were raised; so, the entire area of 164 square meters has been enclosed, the entire roof was installed, and 4 fans, windows, and an emergency door. We also installed the main door of the multipurpose classroom was installed. On September 30, the inauguration ceremony was held, it was a special time carried out on zoom, with the participation of the pastors of the district and Foursquare denomination, church staff, pastors of the mother and daughter church, and the staff of Compassion Colombia National Office. 

Our church has worked in the evangelizing work with the community and families through evangelistic campaigns, impact services, families, and with the children attending Sunday school and Bible classes teaching them the complete gospel. The church is evangelizing the families of the children who are already enrolled in the Childhood Development Center and encouraging them to attend church, resulting in a church with plenty of attendance on Sundays. 

Despite the fact that the materials for the roof installation were not available in the village, it was possible to manage and finally install the entire roof of the multifunctional area. As a church, we have challenged ourselves to raise the funds to successfully complete all this construction process making sales and working as laborers in neighboring construction sites to raise funds. This has been an opportunity for the members of the church to be more united, the community see the effort of the church and also are linked to this work.

Moving forward, we continue as a church consolidating the brothers of the church and working with the children of the church. We are awaiting the enrollment of the children in the Compassion program.

We wish to give you the verses: Numbers 6: 24-26 “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

Thanks to God and all those who have contributed so that the work in the Lord advances, for each person who contributes both financially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually so that we can begin the process of formation of the children and families of our community.

We ask for prayer for each one of them so that God helps them to understand their purpose on earth and also so that there may be healthy families in the name of the Lord, but also in prayer we ask for wisdom for all of us who are going to intervene in them.
