Iglesia Cruzada Cristiana Dios lo Hará Otra Vez
October 2020 Update
Greetings brothers and sisters of MONAT! We are excited to share with you an update on the ministries and construction of Iglesia Cruzada Cristiana Dios lo Hará Otra Vez.
Over the last couple of months, we have begun the process of building our church! We carried out the “First Stone” Celebration, in which we celebrated the beginning of our build. We hired an engineer to channel wastewater from the land. We have also met with the engineer, architect, and construction master to discuss how we will plan and carry out the construction.
The pastor has continued conducting virtual meetings with members of the community and the church in general. It has been agreed to hold services together with the mother church and involve the entire church membership and the community.
Children’s services are also being held in the church’s community through virtual platforms such as Zoom, Facebook Live, Meet among others. In addition, groceries are still delivered to the community in these times of pandemic and the church carries out specific services for women and men, in addition to sharing the Sunday word in their usual hours.
We were able to install the sewage channel. The willingness of the workers to support the church and be able to see that process completed was encouraging. It’s also been encouraging to see the alliances that are happening with the mayor’s office to achieve concise processes.
In the next 60 days, we hope to organize the resumes and hiring of staff members, both of the church and the construction project. We will excavate for the pouring of the foundation, install the beams, and install the subflooring.
We thank our God very much for the great privilege He gives us by having His support and help in this process. It is a source of joy for us to be able to be blessed with this project and thus be able to serve God and the rest of our community, especially the children who need it so much.
PRAYER REQUESTS
- That the pandemic passes as soon as possible.
- May God save the lives of the children who will be the beneficiaries of this foundation.
- That this pandemic issue does not generate desertion of families in the area.
