Iglesia Cruzada Cristiana Dios lo Hará Otra Vez
August 2020 Update
Greetings brothers and sisters of MONAT! We are excited to share with you an update on the ministries and construction of Iglesia Cruzada Cristiana Dios lo Hará Otra Vez.
We have made progress these last couple of months! The Church staff and volunteers completely cleaned the land and the walls and floors of the existing structure. We have created advanced plans for the building and know what our next steps are.
The pastor of the church holds virtual meetings with members of the community and the church in general; it has been agreed to hold services together with the mother church and to involve the entire membership of the church and others. Services for children are also being held to the childhood community of the church through virtual platforms such as Zoom, Facebook Live, and Meet, among others. They also carry out grocery basket delivery to the community who is in need because of the pandemic. Specific services are held for women and men, in addition to sharing the Sunday word in its regular schedule.
The biggest challenge we have at the moment is the issue of restrictions to go out to buy materials, due to the quarantine in our city that only allows going out for two days a week. The climate here is always variable and the heavy rains impede the total development of the work. However, this has helped us to better organize our work plans and plan the details of this church and development center in order to comply with the proposed objectives.
In the next 60 days we hope to hold the “First Stone” celebration. We will purchase the materials for channeling, recruit the volunteers needed, demolish the unneeded floors and walls, and request the property title.
We thank our good God for his wonderful love and mercy towards us, and for our partners for thinking about the church and supporting us to extend the kingdom of God here on earth. It is a privilege for us to receive this donation for the construction of the Development Center to serve the most vulnerable children in our community; with this construction many lives and families will be impacted, and we trust in God that many will establish the kingdom of God in their homes through this project. Thank you for trusting the church and allowing us to reach more lives, which will be especially impacted.
- The health of the children and their families who are facing Covid19.
- Protection for the homes of the congregation and the community.
- The construction process to be started.
- Protection for volunteer brothers and workers.
