Iglesia del Nazareno de Santa Maria

August 2021 Update

Greetings brothers and sisters of Canyon Ridge Church! We are excited to share with you an update on the ministries and construction of Iglesia del Nazareno de Santa Maria.

We currently have 30 adults and 30 children regularly attending our church. We have continued our construction, reinforcing the first floor, constructing the classroom walls, and preparing the roof. We have had some challenges with keeping workers on our project, but with the help of Ruth Casas, we have been able to supervise the work and hire new construction workers.

We host Bible studies once a week in person and continue visiting families of our church regularly.

In the next couple of months, we plan to install the roof of the classrooms and main sanctuary, prepare to raise the perimeter wall, and work on the kitchen, dining room, and bathroom.

As always, we are infinitely grateful for the financing for the construction of classrooms, dining room, kitchen, bathrooms, and sanctuary. We feel very blessed despite the challenges of this time of the pandemic. We are doing our best not to stop the construction work and even in the middle of quarantines to continue little by little until the work is completed.

Brothers, I am very grateful for the help that low-income families in our community receive through this new project that is about to start. Although the new Church is not yet finished, we know that the church always has open arms to support families and we are very pleased with their presence. For any opportunity we are ready to collaborate, but already we feel that the church has been a great support for this community.
